High School Essay Contests. Presented by: Think, Read, and Write. PICPA is committed to helping future CPAs succeed! In lieu of a High School Essay Contest in 2019, the Pennsylvania CPA Foundation has launched a new scholarship open to high school seniors interested in accounting.

Essay Scholarships offer students an opportunity to stand out based on their writing. You are evaluated by how you put your thoughts on paper and not on your GPA or community service. The essay competition represents an opportunity for creative students, those with good ideas and those capable of in depth research to stand out.

Making sure high school seniors are ready for college is a top priority for parents today. The motivation behind parents putting the extra effort to increase their child’s chances of college acceptance is to gain financial assistance to pay for college tuition.

February 1, 2013. The high school will then select one student-volunteer from each grade from their pool of applicants to be considered for the state-wide scholarship award. Next the high school should scan and email a maximum of four nominations (one per grade level) to the MCSC by February 8, 2013.
